“I’m a poet and I know it to be somewhat of a dying art but if there’s going to be a revival — like  soul music — I’ll do my part.” There are a lot of writers and few artists left in the genre.  Books still sell and there is still a profit to be had but beyond that what are we leaving behind that will help to impact the decisions of those that come after us?  Do I consider myself one of these so called artists?  Not yet! I have a long way to go before I’m a master of my craft but along the way I would like to meet those with a like mind and hope to ferment a change in perspective if you will.

This site will be poetically oriented and driven mostly through an experiment of mine I call , “The 100 Day Story“.  Along with that I will try and include as many literary focused gems as I can come across.  To further that goal of community I would like to get the voices of those who wish to add it to the site.  So…I’m accepting submissions.  For whatever the reason might be I know that’s something most who come across this site won’t take me up on right away but it is an open request with no time limit.  If that’s something that does interest you, you can check the submissions page and see if what you have fits with the site model.

Until I do find a solid team to work with and I get an ample amount of submissions you will be subjected to my narrow views and for that I apologise.  For those who take a liking and want to deepen the conversation feel free to get in touch as your support will be integral in the building of what’s to come.  If or when the time comes that the root ambitions are realised I would like to give you my thanks.  Since you’ve read this to the end please feel free to enjoy the site and suggest topics that would be of interest to you.
