Welcome

Beauty

Is in the eye of the beholder…

But looks aren’t what I’m looking at
I’m blind
And now that I’m looking back it’s more what I felt
More what I heard
I mean…
The lady was one of those
Few who I meet
So soft
So strong
But so sweet
So much to give
A long life
But something’s holding her back
Something’s not giving her the time she needs
If I could I would alleviate some of the stress
Clear the air she breathes
Take her away to a place where she has no worries no fears
No tears…
Just sunshine and sea music in her ears

I’m not in that situation to give her those things…
You like the sound though
Like diamond it rings
And I can only hope the man she meets treats her like
The divinity that she is
I told her it was the lips that define her face
Full and beautifully spaced
Words yes
But when you’re blessed
The beholder needs not speak
Sometimes he can’t
Because the emotions will leave him weak
And he knows she’s the one
The first
she met him at his worst and nurtured him back to health
He knows she’s his future after the hands he’s been dealt

Again
That’s a wish
A chance to see that she knows what she deserves
For being her
She knows what she’s earned
Never loses focus and never loses her way
I might be writing a poem today
She might be dreaming yesterday
But tomorrow is what counts and I don’t put words lightly
You have someone watching your back
No matter how far distance might be

But that is beauty
In the eye of the beholder…
They’re the things that beauty makes you think
Makes you do
That makes a man realize
There is none more beautiful than you
