Right now I’m studying…Well, actually it’s only history. Still, it’s about those brilliant minds that were at the forefront of all modern historical changes (whether they be political or social). We have our Aristotles and Platos and all the other Greek philosophers and the Renaissance artistes who were considered brilliant and unparalleled. Then those who were alive during the Era of Romanticism and the German Sturm and Stress Period. Strange, they are remembered as geniuses and every other over embellishing adjective you can think of. All they did was speak of the plight and joys of their day and brought it forth in an artistic and entertaining manner. Now the leaders in our society today are overlooked as loud mouth monkeys whose words are senseless and incomprehensible.

Is it because of their race or their social standing? Let’s look at the issue of race. See as far as society is concerned a certain race is not capable of anything worthwhile. However their influence and their cause and effect is undeniable. So, simply due to race and cultural bias that influence can be casually tossed aside. These pioneering individuals are not considered to be among the leading race and until their is a change in the structure their won’t be any real progress. If those responsible for that change are considered too low to even give their opinions consideration then how can there be any progress? Of course I’m talking about the culture we call black. I don’t use the word as a representation of skin but for all that it represents emotionally and socially when it’s spoken (you should never limit a definition to one dimension). Now that I’ve stated the obvious think of anything artistically or influentially related to the culture. Then list them and the parts of your daily life they’ve been irreversibly intertwined. You might be surprised and you might not.

That’s just my critique of our current political position and maybe when this is re-read someone will understand and make a change. How does the saying go “love me or hate me” I can only speak the truth.
