There was once a man who wanted to build a rocket and travel to the moon. He was ridiculed for the idea because he was neither a rocket scientist nor did he have the funds to build a rocket. The man, understanding the truth in the ridicule tried to engage rocket scientists and investors alike but they too balked at the idea and showed something even worst; disinterest. Seeing there was no way around it the man decided he had to get his PhD.
After achieving that first goal the man realised he still lacked funding and now owed a debt for his years of educational pursuit. So, he proceeded to try every way he knew how to raise the “money” he needed. When asked what he was doing the man always responded by saying, “Nothing important.” Remembering the ridicule of previous years he thought it best to continue his journey in silence and solitude. Seeing no results and taking the man’s response at face value they now ridiculed him for having no ambition and being worthless. They told him he had wasted his years doing nothing with his time and amounting to no more than a stone in the ground.
One day the man figured out a way to get his funding and he built his rocket. Strange enough he never took that flight to the moon. In fact, he had built a rocket far beyond anyone’s imagination and passed it on to his children and grandchildren telling them to take a trip to wherever they desired in the universe. He also left them with the blueprint for the rocket just in case something were to happen to the one he so carefully built, they would not be left stranded wherever they went.
