Welcome

Hold Her

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder
So I beheld her
After she allowed me to hold her
Permission to get bolder
So I told her
It had something to do with her right shoulder
Smile
I earned one
That superficial thing that
Made me want to know her
Burn away all the weeds
That would try to choke her
Buy her a choker
Necklace
Quiet voice speaking up
Saying move slower
The other side responds with
You were being so romantic
You’re so boring when you think over
The nuance of her speech
The depth they never reached
Is it a product of now
Or a result of those before you
That presented themselves before her
That feel akin to love
Creeping into you
But now you’re wondering
If you really want to know her
Hold her
So I held her
And the beauty that I felt
Erased all else
As her head rested on my shoulder
