Welcome

In the End

We’re all trying to create an ideal
Experiencing sex
How we should
Not how we think it should feel
Is a fantasy
That blurs the lines
When you know
How to make it real
The person beside you
Will need you
Feed you
Agree to
The craziest things
And on days when you’re lazy
With no words to say
That’s when
Your communication gets tested
You learn if sex
Is just sex and
You have nothing in common
Except for the people you’ve sexed and
It gets complicated
So I’ll explain
Sex is a word improperly used
Materialised with a lot of negative
Connotation
We call abuse
But it’s the element
The glue
That keeps what you have talking
Lasting
And if you still don’t get its true purpose
Then you’re too young for the role
Not a play you should be cast in
After you’ve read this tome
Maybe alone
I’ll suggest you stay alone
Contradictory
Or pick up the phone
And call that person
That lets you feel grown
Free
Sex
Is an intrinsic part of sexuality
When practised
And acted
How it’s supposed to be
Fulfilling
Cementing the union
Between you and she
These words
Are showers of deeper meaning
Meant to wash over you
Cleaning away the smut
So you see the irony
That this is what real life
Is supposed to be
It’s not a fantasy
But it takes work
To set the stage, the plot
The scenery
In the end
It’s not about the standing ovation
On opening night
It’s about the longevity of the show
Solidifying that what you’ve created
Is ART
Immortal
For generations to come
Knowing what you share
Between you and your partner
Is second to none
