Welcome

Ambiguous (Can I Have Some More)

So controversial
Rehearsing for rehearsals
Reimbursing
Other name
Reversal
Take it back
This is nothing like the commercial
My soul wants a refund
It was fun
While the funds lasted
Graduated
But money was the key to all the classes
Retrospect
I would never have chosen to be born
Would never have chosen to be torn
From my mother’s womb
Living
I was pro life
Sometimes I wonder
While I beat the eggs in the kitchen
They’ll read it again
And that line will get ‘em
And again
Listen
Now that I’m here
Now that I’m risen
I make the best of my prison
Etch symbols on the walls
For future generations
And every so often I say
“Listen”
So it echoes for eternity in this empty
Cell
We talk about salvation
While we create plenty
Hells
Hollowed out
Feeling superior
While they save empty
Shells
And the sound of music swells
Nature tells
You that you’re no longer a part
Playing a part
Yes but
Standing apart
Painting landscapes
Claim it as art
Like
I was looking out as the sun was setting on the beach
On one over hanging branch
Just out of his reach
The boy tipped
Silhouetted
But couldn’t get the peach
James was a giant
And there’s a lesson
Somewhere there
To teach
You about the purpose of life
Would mean I lived in your shoes
Rhymed in your cadence
Dabbled in your flows
So here goes
Hey diddle diddle
The cat and the fiddle
And other eternal riddles
The solution to life
Is forgetting about that elusive place in the middle
Choose a side
And kill the…
…rhyme
But that has never worked
This is nothing like the brochure I’m sure
Now I’m rambling but I want to say
Rob the store
I’m joking
I’m playing
I kid
I kid
I child
I chide
But I wonder what would happen
If we fed the poor
The starving
Would they say
“Please sir,
Can I Have some more?”
